I'm going to go against the grain and say no, for now. I say this for a multitude of reasons but I don't do it to be disrespectful of GEN Mattis. First of all, I don't honestly know too much about him although I have heard a lot of positive comments from many others, mostly Marines. Second, I will not vote for someone based on a"reputation" or name recognition. Third, I want to know exactly what he stands for before I make a decision to vote for anyone. I would also do this for Army officers I am familiar with.

He is a Marine. Kings around the world say "tell it to the Marine" to get a truthfull answer. Especially noted for honesty and loyalty. He is THE perfect choice!
