Closet doors were opened and then, Don't ask, Don't Tell was repealed, and now the Navy takes another step in recognizing the rights of LGBT members. Do you think this is a good step in opening more doors in recognizing more accomplishments by members of the LGBT Community?

If they served honorably and were an asset to the organization I don't see a problem. If you are just doing it to paint a picture of perceived equality you dishonor everyone.

If they were indeed commendable troops, I see no harm. As long as balance is kept.

Fully agree SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I want my Nephew and Niece to be as comfortable in the Services as any other man or woman, no matter what they are or believe. It is time to end ALL the crap many of us grew up BELIEVING the separated us!
