All the EMT levels require hands on testing to certify, so there is no way

Can you get your certification via online? The short answer is yes. However each state has their own guidelines of what program is acceptable to them and how it's done, same for the national registry.

From the experience I have from getting mine, it's worth it to enroll into a classroom program. I was able to just schedule my national registry online exam and forego the skills exam.

*Mine was a NREMT certified school program in Texas - If you pass your program final exam you are officially state certified, also the labs you do during the program count as your skills test for the national exam. This was as of Feb '17

You can do online classes but will still have to go and do skills in order to pass the class. Any online course I've seen was referred to as a 'hybrid' course and had a skills/lab day once weekly while all of your tests were online. You will also have to do a skills portion/testing portion at a test site to obtain the certification separately from the class.
When I took my first EMT-B course back in 2010 there were numerous corpsman in my class who requested a month off to take the class and were awarded it. It was 8-5 Mon-Fri for 4 weeks.
If you're set on taking it 'online' as a hybrid course, look up the local community colleges closest to you, as you will have to live close enough to go to skills days. Good luck!
