How is an Army Tech Warrant Officers’ quality of life?

Bluf: I just got notified that my warrant packet is now board ready. There might be a great chance that I’m leaving soon for bootcamp.
Im currently serving in AF Civil Engineering as a project manager. I’ve researched enough to prepare myself about basic, WOCS, and tech trng. At this point I’m more curious about the tech warrant’s lifestyle and day to day routine. There are a lot articles about aviation warrant, but there arent too many for techs. I understand that the AF has it nice and comfy due to less BS we have to deal with. Does warrants have to deal with the same BS everyone has? I’m highly driven and physically fit so I dont think it would be much of a shock, but again we does things differently in the AF. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Becoming an Army Warrant Officer would be one of the best decisions you'll ever make. Someone once described it as "being given the keys to the executive restroom". Officer housing, better pay, officer priveleges, etc. As long as you know your stuff and can provide the technical expertise the CO needs, you'll be in good stead. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the advice sir. I just finished WOCS and it has been great so far. Coming from a different branch is a little bit challenging but I know I can adapt.

Being a Technician has its perks. From your background in the AF I am assuming that you are trying to become a 120A. If so, then I can tell you it is a very challenging and rewarding experience to be an engineer Warrant. There are very few of us and no one seems to fully grasp what we are capable of. So it’s up to you to sell your worth and we have a plethora of assignments where you can do a multitude of unique jobs. So far I have no regrets.

Also, what are the usual challenges 120as face on a day to day basis? Thats if u dont mind sharing it sir.
