I'm probably wrong about this, but it has looked to me, as a layman, like some of our current physics is built on top of mathematical extrapolations of mathematical extrapolations... ...of mathematical extrapolations of the last phenomena we could actually test hypotheses about through experiments and observation. In the event that's the case, how much do we know about how much we know?

At the quark level, physically seeing them is physically impossible, they can only be inferred, though the theoretical approach is beautifully organized, while the inferring circumstantial evidence is quite compelling...that the Standard Model is correct is pretty much beyond dispute, however, there are occasional instances like that discussed here, where physical phenomena can be missed, examples incl the quantum Hall effect, also dark lightning giving rise to clouds of positronic antimatter and terrestrial gamma ray flashes (TGFs) in thunder storms...even neutrinos were thought fictional I'll found, same for the Highs boson, and the cosmic IR background radiation from the Big Bang...I'm quite certain a rational explanation for tyr one here will be found...another example of an oddball physical effect is the flyby anomaly, sometimes attributed to dark !after/energy, speculatively, though e data for that seems fairly fragmented, at best...I entirely understand your point, however, scientitic history is vitualpy replete with such examples...Marie and Pierre Curie only learned of radioactivity due to exposure of photographic film in a darkened room by her PhD advisor, I forget his name at the moment, that was another major instance, there are countless others I could name, I assure you...often, inventions were invented by multiple inventors simultaneously, like telephones, only Bell got the credit, the other who lost the patent race is now a mere footnote to history...also, often, inventions have been created prematurely, and/or also forgot...radio was invented by a dentist from upstate NY, Dr Mahlon Loomis just after the Civil War and one other inventor, yet Marconi got the credit...he Antikytyera mechanism was found off Greece in the Ionian Sea, far too advanced for the period it was built in, then there was the Baghdad battery as well...the list of such anomalies is virtuappy endless, honest....

QEDVTHE most mathematical part of modern physics has been proved with real testing and is very accurate. Most of moder atomic physics has been expementsly verified and much of has been proven for a very long time. It might look like it is all extrapolation but that is because you have not taken a good look. The last ex vdentiary missing peace of the Standard model" of physics dell into place a few years ago, as did the last proof needed of General Relativity.

Cosmic rays were only discovered in 1912 as such more things about cosmic rays remain a mystery than what we know about them. While small 1% of the particles in cosmic rays we don't really even know what they are. One thing I find fascinating about the super high-energy particles is the amount of energy these extremely tiny particles have. Ultra high energy cosmic rays have 40 million times the energy of particles accelerated by the Large Hadron Collider as such at this time I feel the only thing we can do is observe and postulate.

Capt Daniel Goodman I sincerely believe that something above man's explanation , science, and talent is happening and that humankind has no power to control it. The anomalies occurring seem to be pointing to the earth catching fire rather than flooding. I also believe there are other beings here. When I was 8 years old me and my siblings (at the same time) saw something like a saucer shaped disc hovering over the old sharecropper's shack we lived in in 1968. Nobody would listen to us. I am a believer of all of the anomalies that continue to manifest.

I follow...I entirely perceive your rationale, however, quite honestly, I'm quite certain there should he a quite rational physical explanation, most likely dealing with some as yet unrecognized aspect of particle physics, I should think, being I've been trained seriously as a scientist at least before my total perm disability, I'm just inclined to think in that fashion, you understand, I suppose, you know?
