My Mother lives there. She has Dementia and my Uncle has a nurse that watches her. The President who won is in violation of the 1-term limit in the Honduran Constitution . I want to go visit next year. Hopefully, it wont grow into a civil war.

Get her out of there. It’s not worth taking the chance and it’s not like there will be any military or diplomatic help to get her if that place goes tits up

My uncle's taking care of her in a small town that's way far away from the flagpole. He lives in the bill outside of that small town. Thank you for your concern and my uncles are kind of a stubborn guy.

How did the President run for a second term if he is constitutionally prohibited from having two terms?

I am not sure. The last president who tried this was kicked out of office by the military. A niece just informed me the directive allegedly put out is false. Fake news from the Guardian? Stay tuned!
