The new Top Gun-Maverick sequel is about is coming out next summer ,but prior to the 1986 Original was the 1980 Science Fiction movie Final Countdown. The United States Navy gave full assistance in this movie. 3 replica Japanese planes from the movie Tora,Tora, Tora! were used in this movie. Also, one of the planes from the 1970 Movie Tora, Tora, Tora! is at the March Air Force Base Museum in Moreno Valley, California.

I had watched the movie that film clip from Final Countdown was from and it was a great piece of film work ! Some of the Japanese aircraft used in the film Tora, Tora, Tora actually had been flown by Pilots from the Hawaii Air National Guard for the filming of that movie.

What I like about the movie is that the Navy was in full support of the movie. The Navy was not really in full support of Top Gun but the Navy is now in full support of top gun Maverick.
watching the aircraft carrier scenes from the movie The Bridges of toko-ri also shows a lot of realistic footage. Maybe I should have shown this video to you this video instead of you saying so what?
