Saddam had no idea our new weapons, helicopters, and vehicles would be a hot knife through butter.

They let the leash off our neck and freed us to do what we were trained to do. Remember that we had Vietnam veterans throughout our military leadership and WWII veterans in the White House and sprinkled through Congress.
I think that made a profound difference.
