After Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s visit to Panama, the State department announced that U.S. government vessels are now allowed to transit the Panama Canal without being charged fees. There are ongoing resolutions concerning the current Chinese influence over the Canal area as it’s seen as is a national security issue for the United States .

I don’t believe it is in the interests of Panama to attempt to bicker with President Trump. I do believe he will get his way, one way or another.
