Sort of misleading headline. Al Udeid may be important, but if the CIC wants a hard line on terrorism, and leaving Qatar to its own devices becomes a part of that hard line, then they get what they deserve.

Leaving ISIS with nothing will cause them to fight in Europe and America in much greater numbers. Give them a patch of dirt that they lost when America sided with the Iraqi Shia government. Make pledge loyalty to the new Turkish Caliph. Put them under Turkish rule. It is where the world system is leaning and desiring.

Wow imagine that. A rich Muslim nation funding terrorist. And after 5 months you finally figured out our President tweets his feelings. Damn. You must have a GT score in the high 60s.

Qatar get what they deserve and our troops lose most of the help that they are getting from the air.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr No perfect solution. I see your point. I agree that protecting the forces on the ground should be priority one. We could use air bases in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Israel to launch strikes. Of course when talking about hard lines and Terrorism Saudi Arabia has not been a guiltless party either. The middle east is a shit show. As I said there is no perfect solution. There may not even be a good solution, but we have to find a way not to alienate our allies in the region, while supporting our forces fighting on the ground.

If any of those nations let us use their bases. Using Israeli bases would mean that we would likely lose all our allies but Israelis on that region though.
