I don't know what to think about this. It sounds like two kids fighting, except I never fired a rocket at any of my friends, or enemies. "You turn your speaker down or else." "Yeah, or else what?" " Or else I'll shoot at you with my gun." "Na, na, na, nana!"
This has been going on forever. One of these days one or the other is going to do some real damage, and probably start a war. If only one North Korea rocket made it across to South Korea, North Korea be in deep Doo Doo if a war does break out.
Seoul (AFP) - South and North Korea traded artillery fire across their heavily militarised border on Thursday, in a rare exchange that left no casualties but pushed already elevated cross-border tensions to dangerously high levels.
North Korea followed up with an ultimatum sent via military hotline that gave the South 48 hours to dismantle loudspeakers blasting propaganda messages across the border or face further military action.
The South's defence ministry dismissed the threat and said the broadcasts would continue.

That is the full name of the ruler of NK. What a trip is was spending time along the DMZ back in the 60's when I was there. They have massive tunnels under the DMZ, one goes just past Camp Casey which isn't to far they also had two the went all the way down to Seoul. When I was the majority of my 27 months, Camp Humphreys (aka K6) we had no NO back fence, only a few south korean nationals walking fence patrol. I was on the QRF team (Quick Reaction Force) and we have NK infiltrators coming in the back door a couple times while I was there. Our battery and battalion area was in the fact back of K6 very near the emperor's new fence. At least once they got there by rubber boat. There was a very small inlet or river like channel of water that they would paddle on to get up to where we were. I know for a fact that some did get into S Korea that way. (I spent part of my tour in S2) Never got to shoot one that I am aware of. The NKs were always firing across the Z and actually causing death and injury to US guys. Do you recall those episode Sgt Damaso Santana?

I think eventually both sides will come to blows, just hope that the North isn't dumb enough to use their so called nuclear weapons. It will not be a pretty sight if that ever does take place and would set S. Korea back quite a ways from how far they have come after the peace agreement. One day hopefully they just get it over with or take the borders down.

TSgt Ryan Lee, I would hope they would just get it over also, but that crazy kid of a Czar, wakes up in a different world every day. No telling what will happen. I think he wants to fight someone, if for no other reason, to show he CAN do it.
