Actually this is not really accurate. B52s have rotated in and out of Guam since I can't remember when. I "deployed" there in 96 the first time as a maintenance guy with BUFs. Now the B1/B2 presence is another story altogether

You may have been there in the 90s when the Kurds were sent there to find Refuge outside of Iraq during the time Saddam was gassing Kurdistan. This was good because we had connections in Kurdistan when we went back into Iraq in 2003

LTC (Join to see) - I have been there one other time and think it was 05 or 06. Was actually a finance guy, but had solid computer skills and the Comm commander brought me over to help in both areas. Worked my ass off, but we had a few days to bounce around.
