Planners help develop CCIRs during the planning process across all three event horizons": 1) INTELLIGENCE: Typically the J2 is responsible for developing proposed Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs); 3) STRATEGY PLANS AND POLICY: The J5 (PLANS) and J35 (FUTURE POLICY SUPPORT OPERATIONS). I was responsible for performing J35-work while assigned to the 402nd AFSB, developing Friendly Force Operations Requirements (FFIRs) via Morale, Safety, Health and Welfare defined by the Battalion XO and Sergeant Major.
