Hearing loss, hearing aids and preventing further damage

I have lost high frequency loss and have trouble hearing women and children. My son wanted to know how get that affliction.

Last time I had a hearing test, I was complimented on how my test turned out.

I suffered substantial loss in my left ear after an op on a submarine. But I cannot wear my hearing aids due to intractable headaches.
