If approved, the President's recent infrastructure plan would allocate $18 billion for veteran-specific projects, including funding to update and/or replace between 10 and 15 VA hospitals in need of major infrastructure improvements.
Just think how things would be if more than 9% were actually applied to building infrastructure. If 70% of his infrastructure bill was actually for roads, bridges and buildings, then it would be worth it.
The Veterans hospital in Knoxville, Iowa is being demolished and a new facility is going up in a year or so. I am glad so Veterans in the area won't have to drive all the way to Des Moines to get help.
