Thanks for that article, MCPO Roger Collins. Quite interesting. There are two issues, IMV, with a single payer system. The first is, of course, how to pay for it. The second is what the impact will be on health care providers ... more specifically, the quantity AND quality of providers.

At American Lake, we can get in within a couple months, and there is no service connection required. What you experienced is the reality that there is no central control of VA healthcare. Each region and center sets its own policies. Having centralized control would much better serve vets.
