Whether you agree with President Trump in restoring Chief Gallaghers rank or not, I think the Navy is now getting vindictive over the whole case. Now they want to strip Gallagher and some team members of their Tridents. Gallagher was sentenced, Trump pardoned him. Thats his prerogative. Leave it at that.

There is no chance in hell that Gallagher ever gets back on a team. It is pretty unlikely he will ever get invited to an official event again. Too much transpired.
The easy answer is to have him retire and go away. But SEALs are not accustomed to looking for easy answers.

What’s so confusing about being CINC as defined in the Constitution? If any of the subordinates condemned or attempted to undermine their senior officers in any branch of the military, their careers would be over. Hipocrisy from the haters crying the blues.
