We used to celebrate military heroes in films, on war bond tours, in parades. Now we celebrate sports "heroes", movie stars, and politicians. Sad...

The very opposite occurred during the Vietnam Conflict which is the most despised, detested and protested conflict ever. So returning soldiers were repeatedly vilified and rejected.

That was an absolutely phenomenal speech/introduction of the Invictus Games in 2017... I have a new respect for Prince Harry and what He stands for... and yes Lt Col Charlie Brown, perhaps we should be doing the same type of effort to reintroduce our Heroes to a new generation of people!!! Seems we have heros one day then they are gone seemingly into obscurity... Great share, Charlie!!!
