Is China or the United States guilty of Human Rights violations?

China on Wednesday blasted the United States' human rights record, citing what it called US failures against Covid-19 that cost "hundreds of thousands of lives," as well as racial discrimination, police brutality, and an "evil past of genocide."
Jiang Duan, a counsellor at the Chinese mission in Geneva, voiced the criticism at the end of an examination of the US rights record at the Human Rights Council, part of a regular review faced by all countries at the United Nations' top human rights body.
The comments testified to the growing outspokenness of Chinese diplomats, and the swelling rivalry between the world's top two economic powers. The US has repeatedly criticized China's rights record on issues like the rights of protesters in Hong Kong and the detention of Muslim Uyghurs in the Xinjiang region.

The end result of Trump's absolutely stupid approach to pandemic control shaped the conditions for the US to have the highest pandemic metrics in the world. The response was so imbecilic that it makes me question his motives. Trump was about Trump first.
Putting Mexican children in detention centers with minimal shower and toile facilities, lack of soap and tooth brushes, lack of beds and blankets, and sometimes lack of requisite sanitary napkins was considered humane by the Trump administration.
A disproportionate number of blacks are hurt or killed in police custody but Trump called BLM terrorists.
Trump had the ability to fvck up a wet dream.

Oh hell no. If Snoopy ran against Trump I would vote for Snoopy. I concluded Trump had no presidential timber in him. He also said something that was evil. He stated the high number of COVID cases is a badge of honor. That is just sick. I don’t think any of his major promises came true except perhaps he had the highest GDP in history but much of that was facilitated by Obama building up the economy. The same goes to Biden. He can claim the highest stock market but it was facilitated by the Trump tenure. Trump is a train wreck in waiting. Thank goodness we had a real president in WWII. I dread the thought. Let me humor you. Washington said don’t call me your excellency, I think he said mr. president would suffice. He also created the Supreme Court which would aid in the checks and balances of the government and constitutionally of laws. He did not want the presidency to garner too much power as he was trying to do the right and noble thing for the government and the nation.
Now let’s discuss Trump. He will find a way around rules or break them if the results are goo enough. He illegally used veterans charity funds. He broke budget laws to coerce the Ukraine to dig dirt up on Biden’s son. Removing DOD funds to build the wall was eventually ruled illegal. He makes millions on his hats. His pandemic planning makes me wish my ham sandwich would be in charge because it won’t lie. He relentlessly lied about the election, and gave no olive branch to BLM. There are videos of his shitty walls being blown down winds. Oh yeah he said he would show his taxed and said he would dramatically reduce the budget deficit. That was clearly more of a political statement than an actual accusation. To answer the question, I would first ask if human rights violations had to be intentional, or if actions caused those violations as a 2nd or 3rd order of effects. What constitutes a violation by their definition? Is a mask mandate a human rights violation? Is a forced quarantine and economic shutdown a violation? A statement like that is probably the most provocative way the speaker can say something that, when it’s dissected down to the actual facts, is not all that staggering.

The Uyghurs in Xinjiang have been exploited for decades now due to their Muslim beliefs in China. China uses Pakistan to try and brainwash the Uyghurs, who are of the Mongol empire centuries ago. Their rights as humans are violated each day, yet the UNHRC has never censured China; why? Some say it is because China is a permanent member of the United Nations.
