If I go to camp casey and don't have cs, and my wife decides she'd rather be with me, is it possible to request a transfer to a base that supports it or do I just have to embrace the suck for a year?

You can request a deferment for the assignment but it’s up to HRC. Also, CS will not pay for your wife to fly if you are already there. So make sure she is on your orders if the deferment it approved.

All I got to say is, have fun at Camp Casey. It is really hard to go to another installation after being assigned Casey
