In a lot of situations, I believe police departments are significantly understaffed and that this leads to unacceptable levels of danger for both officers and citizens in and around high crime neighborhoods. I hope that a large percentage of the officers hired are from, and active in the communities being policed.

I just remember someone mentioning Chicago in the previous post, and came along this. I hope it does some good for Chicago, and provides jobs too.

I hope they receive the appropriate cultural sensitivity , safety, deescalation and safety training required for themselves and the community they police.
