Really good story about Johnny Bench (70) taking care of his 2 boys aged 12 and 8. Pretty impressive. Bench was one of my favorite players to watch as a kid!

I have always loved Johnny Bench and have met him a couple times as a kid. He 2as known for being able to hold 5 baseballs in one hand.

Yogi was my all-time favorite but Johnny Bench is way up on my list. I'm blessed to have seen both he and Yogi play in my lifetime (obviously different times & games).

An additional side note: While getting autographs (back in the day when you could do that easier than you can now), Yogi managed to step on my foot. I told my mother I wasn't going to wash that foot ever again. I did get Mickey Mantle's autograph and several other Yankee players and a few Oriole players as well. This was at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore.
