This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Additional heavy snow today will provide dangerous travel
conditions, with snow packed and icy roadways and significantly
reduced visibility expected across much of southern Colorado.
Snowfall will gradually diminish across much of the region later
this afternoon into the evening, though locations closer to the
New Mexico border may see snow persist tonight.

Record cold temperatures and sub-zero wind chills are expected
this morning, and once again tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Returning precipitation chances are expected across the southern
mountains and parts of the plains Tuesday night into Wednesday
night. A wintry mix of snow, rain, and freezing rain is possible
with the highest chances for freezing rain expected near the
Colorado and Kansas border late Tuesday night into Wednesday
morning.
