This sounds like another DD-214 screw up we were discussing yesterday. It happens. We all know that, but I don't know what difference it would have made, if he had gotten a DD. He was still able to get weapons from somewhere, and ambush the police he wanted to ambush. This is a military screw up that I don't think has anything to do with the killer.
DALLAS — Almost a week after the Dallas sniper attacks, it's still unclear how the gunman obtained an honorable discharge from the military even though Army officials sent him home from Afghanistan with a recommendation that he be thrown out of the armed forces. An attorney appointed by the military to represent Micah Johnson in a sexual harassment case speculated last week that Johnson's behavioral record could be more serious. The attorney says he's now under strict orders not to discuss the matter with reporter

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, Sounds like a clerk messed up. That's the only way I know of this happening. Company clerks are as good as the records they stay up with and complete. I got malaria in Vietnam and spent ten days in the hospital. The company clerk listed it as ten days excessive leave and I was docked for it. He messed up. The Army will find out how he received an HD. It will be traced back to a company clerk. I'd bet money on it.

No, Occam's Razor says , He got an HD, because he sexually harassed white female soldiers before his ETS. And his command did not want the inevitable EO complaint he would have filed if his discharge had been downgraded for his predatory/rapist behavior. Also there were certainly some "similar people/PC communists" in his chain of command that liked his predatory behavior, and his HD was an "attaboy". The military has become something very PC and by default - corrupt and evil.

This is the same Army that happily kept promoting Nidal Hassan in spite of his loud spewing of hate in front of his peers and instructors. PC reigns supreme in the Army. It's everywhere.

Oh yea, there is an "explanation" but the explanation is so non-pc , as it is the truth, it is verboten to mention it anywhere in public or on the MSM.
