Mark Cuban Has Email Exchange with Salem’s Mark Davis


As Davis questioned Cuban’s decision to eliminate the National Anthem from Mavericks games (Townhall). Another story notes “The NBA has announced that all of its teams will play the national anthem before games, “in keeping with longstanding league policy.” The statement appears to be a direct response to Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban telling his team to stop playing the song before games” (Complex). The Dallas hockey team used this opportunity to announce “The playing of the national anthem is a time-honored tradition and the Dallas Stars will continue to perform the Star-Spangled Banner prior to our games at American Airlines Center” (Daily Wire). The Cuban subject came up in the White House press conference (Washington Times).
