I am set to leave for Basic Training the first week of October and I am wondering if anyone has been through or knows of information regarding the changes made due to COVID-19. I’ve been hearing only rumors that there is an additional 2 weeks added on at the beginning for quarantine but haven’t gotten a confirmation. My recruiter doesn’t know a whole lot about the changes made either. Thought maybe someone on here might know.

Questions like: Living situation, PT changes, number of people in a class, etc.

1LT (Join to see) it would help if you post what branch of Military for your Basic Training. And if it is for enlisted training or Officer training?

2wks quarantine and then on with training. 2wks again once you got to AIT. Unless something changes. no worries the DS's will keep you entertained.

Roger. My AIT will also be at Benning but Basic was the main thing I was wondering. Just sounds like precautions have been taken but not a whole lot else has changed which is great.
