How is the housing around on and off post around Fort Campbell? How are the BAH rates?

You should Google the latest BAH rates but I really like the area. I lived in Clarksville TN but there are several good areas and the on base housing has a lot of new units as well. Welcome to Fort Campbell

On post housing is okay.
I'd rather live off post, but financially living on post is the better option.
I don't use my full BAH on rent so I get to pocket the extra.

Not knowing if you are married or not, as a PFC I’d plan on living in the barracks. If married there is decent housing within minutes of post. I was stationed at Campbell for ten years and retired here in 2013
