I want to go to PRC, Ranger School and RASP while at Fort Irwin. Chances for slots?
And if I made it through, how long would I have to be there before I could go, Ranger Batt, is it still the 12-24months? Or could I get orders sooner and PCS to one of the battalions?

If you want go to Ranger Regiment you need to drop a packet and get permission from your current unit to do so. Then when you get approved you will go to Fort Benning. There u will go to airborne school or to pre rasp if you already have your wings. Then you will go through 8 weeks of rasp if you do not quit or fail something. You will have to do a lot of stuff to pass rasp such as 5 mile run in under 40 min, meet the standard for the PT test, 12 mile road march in under 3 hours, the RAW assessment, the RPAT, land nav, weapons qual, all the good stuff! if you pass rasp after the 8 weeks you will put on your TAN BERET and be apart of the Ranger Regiment. Inside the Ranger Regiment they encourage you to have a Ranger Tab meaning be a graduate from Ranger School. For someone you is coming from another unit it is advised to go to ranger school before going through rasp, but if you haven't then the Ranger Regiment Blue Book states you will be provided the opportunity to go to Ranger School in the first 12 months in Ranger Regiment. I suppose that is technically correct, but it certainly isn't reality. There are limited slots for Ranger School, with the priority of slots going to the 75th, then Infantry Officer Basic, then to the Light Infantry/Airborne Divisions, 82nd, 25th, 101st, then everyone else. Then the priority in the light units is Combat Arms NCO's/Company Grade Officers, then other combat arms enlisted, then everyone else. More than half the slots are allotted to the first two groups mentioned. As has come up in threads before, even Infantry Officers that were not selected to attend after IOBLC will often find slots hard to come by, especially if you go to a unit like 1st Div or the 4th. When I attended what was then called Infantry Officer Basic Course there wasn't even a pretense about it, if your follow on orders weren't to a Light Unit, no Ranger School for you. The point being, if you're a 88M from a Support Battalion, going to Ranger School probably will not happen. The Soldier above's profile says 11B, but I don't have a clue how many, if any, slots are available to OPFOR at NTC.

It sounds like you're very confused about what these things are and their waiting times.
If your unit is willing to pay to send you to Ranger School, that's your % chance for a slot. PRC is Pre-Ranger, which you go to prior to Ranger School to increase your chances of passing. RASP is the selection to go to Ranger Regiment. Ranger Regiment and Ranger School are not the same thing, or even in the same command.
Ranger School is a school and falls under TRADOC, like basic training. Ranger Regiment is a special operations unit and falls under USASOC.
I don't know what the 12-24 month waiting period is you're referring to, especially because you didn't say 12-24 months from what.

Guess I messed up in my question a bit, my bad, SFC (Join to see) but I was unaware that the unit paid for it. And I realize PRC, Ranger school and 75th are different, I'm trying to go through PRC and Ranger school to get to 75th. And the 12-24 months was referring to the amount of time I had to be at my current unit/station to go full Ranger assuming I pass PRC/Ranger/RASP. Would my time on station get waived to go to 75th or would I have to wait?
