Fort McClellan ALARNG Garrison Training Center

Fort McClellan was always a vital and active U.S. Army installation until the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission (BRAC) process of 1995 ultimately led to its official closure on 20MAY99. The Officers' Club was the center of many post activities and was one of the more attractive clubs (although certainly not the largest) of any that I saw in my Army career. Over the years, I enjoyed many dining ins and evenings at the Officers' Club (Remington Hall) on Buckner Circle.  Steve Curlee
