At least once a year during hurricane season half the city of Leesville is flooded, on post it's not usually so bad. Nothing to the point of closing anything down nor is it common for on base housing to have to deal with water damage

Fort Polk has had flooding. Particularly in the bayous throughout the training ranges, given enough rain. But since the terrain is varied, you can get yourself to high ground and avoid a lot of it.

What is the context for the question? Buying a house? Training @ JRTC?

I was a weather forecaster there 1995-1998.
