Does anyone else agree that the Field Artillery should bring back the distinctive 'Red Leg' pant stripe to the ASU?
Just as the infantry have their blue chord, the cavalry have stetsons and spurs, airborne maroon berets, etc. I am surprised there hasn't been a stronger push to give back artillerymen/women their unique ASU red pant stripe with clear and more distant historic ties than any other branch.

It would only create a greater sense of pride, identity, and moral in the Artillery branch... resulting in more recruits want to go Artillery.
The army would oppose this because they need 18 year olds to continue saying, “what’s that blue thing on their uniform. I want that!”

I personally don't see a problem with them bringing it back CPT (Join to see)

You’re absolutely spot on. There are many historic uniform traditions that should have been kept. Such as the artillery sword for NCO’s and Officers. Could have made a good addition to modern dress uniforms.
