The 24th infantry was reflagged as the 3rd infantry about 10 years ago. Not sure if G battery survived the transistion. Most of the units of the 24th were retired as the time the division retired. You might find information at the Army Institute of Heardrly. Hope this helps

It will require some time scrubbing unit lineages in the CMH data base. https://history.army.mil/html/forcestruc/lineages/branches/fa/0333faregbty-f.htm
They have a lineage for F Co 333rd FA. But had been several Batteries through the years.

Thank you sir. I'll see if I find anything there. Craziness after yesterday...the museum on Ft. Stewart doesn't even have any clue either. I believe it was a test unit due to females being attached. Knowledge gathered yesterday.

SGT Jamie Jackson very important...was it G Btry 333rd FAR or G Btry in a BN if the 333rd FAR or G Btry 333rd FA BN?
4-333 FAR was active until 1993. Four TABs were deployed to ODS.
