I have a hard choice to make. What would be the best duty station to go to, as I have a choice of Fort Stewart, Fort Bragg, or Fort Campbell. What would be the benefits of a given choice?

Never Stewart.
I liked Bragg in the 82nd and my brother liked Campbell.

SGT Terrell Houston on post housing smelled like the sewage treatment plant nearby. The housing people were terrible, I received a dirty house with fleas. I cleaned everything and they still charged me $350 when I moved out. The post is run by 3ID, so if the DIV CSM decides he doesn't like something, it becomes post policy. For instance, while I was there the DIV CSM decided that everyone had to wear their PC in the car while driving. Hinesville is just gross. The post is tiny and the cockroaches are huge.
Lastly.... Mechanized.

My service is long ago but I would vote for Fort Campbell or Fort Bragg. I think both posts are in fairly nice geographic areas and both units have a decent historical legacy. So up to you, East Coast or further inland. Fort Campbell is just 4-5 hour drive South of Chicago, 1 hour North of Nashville, 3-4 hours from Memphis.
