This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Numerous thunderstorms are expected across the entire region through
tonight. Locally heavy rainfall may result in some flash flooding,
mainly along and south of the I-20 corridor. Some severe storms will
also be possible with the best chances across Central Texas. Large
hail and damaging winds will be the main hazards, but an isolated
tornado can`t be ruled out, mainly this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Some thunderstorms will linger east of the I-35 corridor on Thursday.
Lightning and residual localized flooding will be the primary
hazards.

Low thunderstorm chances will return to the region on Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is possible today and this evening south of the
I-20 corridor.

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

These river forecasts include recent observed rainfall as well as 24
hour forecast rainfall into Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned

The Flood Warning continues for
The Trinity River Near Rosser.
* At 0230 PM Wednesday the stage was 22.40 feet.
* Flood stage is 31 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
Thursday morning and crest near 36 feet Friday after midnight.
The river should fall below flood stage Monday after midnight.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of north central Texas, northeast Texas, and south
central Texas, including the following areas, in north central
Texas, Bell, Bosque, Collin, Comanche, Coryell, Dallas,
Denton, Eastland, Ellis, Erath, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton,
Hill, Hood, Johnson, Kaufman, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan,
Mills, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell,
Stephens, Tarrant, and Wise. In northeast Texas, Anderson,
Henderson, Leon, and Van Zandt. In south central Texas, Milam
and Robertson.

* Through this evening

* Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated areas receiving
higher amounts through this evening.

* Flash flooding may occur in urban and poor drainage areas.
Heavy rainfall may also cause flooding of creeks, streams and
rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for heavy
rain which may lead to flash flooding. You should monitor the
latest forecasts from the National Weather Service and be
prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued for
your area.
