Here we go again, fighting the same battles all over again. Why? Because our fearless leaders had political commitments. Will they never learn?

No, expediency during elections supersede national security. This has been in planning for so long that if ISIS/ISIL have decided to make a stand it's going to be bad. I read recently they have been building tunnels covering the city. Another Okinawa on a smaller scale?

If they were capable of learning they'd have productive jobs in the private sector.

First thoughts SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
1. I am tired of reading what assaults are planned in Iraq.
2. I like many are very tired of having to re-fight to gain ground that was successfully taken over a decade or more ago only to re let go without a fight.

Nothing like watching all the work I helped do 13 years ago having to be redone. Sorry current generation, the leadership who was in charge during my generation's fighting days were not prepared and didn't follow through.
