Love the area and I suspect you will too. Lots to do and places to go. Traffic is, well, traffic! I love the Peninsula Mountains and coastline(s). If you're of a mind take some time and visit Canada. I especially like Vancouver Island and getting a bit north of the tourist areas. I lived there many years back...did BCT at North Ft. Lewis when it was a training post and hung out with a few Brats from McChord AFB. I still have family there and get back to high school reunions and to visit friends. When the weather is nice...it's nice! Nonetheless, I still sport webbed feet! There's a reason they call it The Great North Wet"!! Have a great time!

I hated it worst weather ever. Surrounding area was awesome though.

I was there many years ago but my top still lives in Olympia and apart from lots more people he said it's still the same. Especially if you like outdoor things such as fishing, etc. Unfortunately you'll be arriving in the cold and rainy season.
