This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms will continue into the evening hours,
most numerous west and north. While there may be strong storm,
widespread severe weather is not expected. Some areas will receive
up to 2 inches of rainfall in a fairly short time. This may
result in limited flash flooding in urban and poor drainage areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday Through Monday

A few thunderstorms will be possible across mainly northern
Arkansas through mid-week. Widespread severe weather is not
anticipated. Some storms may be capable of producing gusty winds
and locally heavy rainfall.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
Johnson County in western Arkansas...

* Until 230 PM CDT.

* At 1101 AM CDT, Doppler radar showed continued areas of steady
rain across the county. Automated gauges indicate as much as four
to six inches of rain have fallen across portions of Johnson
County since early this morning. Additional rainfall over the next
several hours could result in areas of flooding. This flood
advisory replaces the previous flash flood warning as no reports
of significant flooding have been received.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Clarksville, Lamar, Knoxville, Hartman, Dillen, Woodland, Hinkle,
Devils Knob, Hoyt, Spadra, Holman, Rosetta, Lake Dardanelle, Coal
Hill, Oak Grove in Johnson County, Catalpa, Fort Douglas, Yale,
Lutherville and Haw Creek Falls Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
