While I do not believe it is ok for anyone to ever talk about killing another person, it should be pointed out that of the names listed, no one is a current police officer and some of the names given have not been confirmed that they were ever a police officer.
The only reason this is a story is at least one is a former police officer, just as news articles use the term "former soldier" to gather interest.

MSG (Join to see) - The FBI is already investigating. 2 of the former officers left the LBPD in the 90's and 1 just retired in 2019 IIRC.

1) According to the article, Long Beach PD stated 2 people named were former officers. None of them were current officers meaning there are no administrative actions that can be taken. They are investigating to determine if it meets the definition of a crime and have contacted the FBI to request an assist. I haven't located anything yet that says the FBI is investigating.
2) One of the names listed, Roy Brockaw, is not the same name as Inglewood PD officer Ray Brockaw, who retired in 2002. They have not determined if there is a connection
3) The article states Jerry DeRosa is believed to have worked for several departments but doesn't list a single one or why the reporter thought they worked on a police agency
4) John Houchens and Chris Sanford are named as people who wrote on the post but again, there are no police affiliations named
5) Jim Lugenbell is listed as making a "strange remark". The only person with a similar name is a Jimmy Lugenbell who retired in 1975.
I have read several different articles including the one you attached. All of them seem to have variations on each other without any additional details
It doesn't appear that only current and former law enforcement officers have sole access to the Facebook group.

Grim humor. I see stuff like this all the time about controversial public figures. I place as much stock in this as I do in Madonna when she talks about blowing up the White House.
