My brother was stationed there. I went to the base a couple times when I was at Camp Lejeune. I was always jealous of his living quarter (four Marine room) while I was living in a squad bay.

I was station there in the early 70s. We had 1, 2 and 3 men rooms. Like a motel straight across from the hospital. Best base I ever been in.
