Two activity-duty military members are seriously injured after being run over by a truck at the Croatan National Forest.
On Friday just before midnight, a male and female from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point were camping inside a tent when a truck ran them over, according to Major David McFadyen, Craven County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the truck, another active-duty military member, fled the scene. The suspect and the vehicle were later apprehended by authorities at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune before being transported to the Craven County Sheriff’s Office for further questioning.

You ‘run over’ someone and just leave them to die in the woods...there is a special place in hell for people like that! (just my two cents)
