With all due respect to the history and traditions of the United States Marine Corps... Many people do not realize that a big part of this issue is scientific analysis that says that due to climate change there will be extensive flooding a majority of the time in the future at that location. Are constant evacuations of recruit training a viable lifestyle? To invest in construction/renovation at that location for compliance with mixed gender training mandates may not be a wise thing to do. I speak as a friend. The Coast Guard helped save LtCol Chesty Puller in combat at Guadalcanal. A Coast Guardsman was posthumously awarded the the Medal of Honor for that episode. Semper Paratus

Mind blown but were Marines and we should protect our home like we protect the United States from everybody that threatens us. So for that I will dig sand bags and put them up if I have to.
