I know Blue Jacket Park well. From 2003-2013, I was a team NCOIC at the 3-347th Regiment which is locate on Corrine Dr and General Rees Ave. I spent many mornings doing P.T. there.

I was stationed at NTC Orlando 3 times; twice as a Nuke School student (enlisted and officer) and then as an instructor there. I am still amazed that they decided to keep only Great Lakes open, given that it has far more black flag days than SD or Orlando combined.

I went to MM Class "A" school in Mistakes, and was billeted in the 230 barracks, AKA Snipe's Castle. The horrid conditions of those barracks were one of the things that led to the riots in the summer of 79. I was there for that, but was not involved. I was an MM3, assigned to Service School Command staff at the time, so my life was easy. Plus I was too well behaved...
