POTUS Obama didn't want to be reminded by Gen. Mattis that Climate change was not as dangerous as Iran having nuclear weapons and eventually nuking the Israelis because this reality would sabotage his socialist climate change agenda.
I wouldn't be surprised at General Mattis told him that nuclear winter would result if Iran attained a nuclear weapon. He probably told him that Israel has a nuclear wild-card up its sleeve that would destroy Iran if it went to a nuclear Exchange.

Does anyone actually do a little research and learn what really happened?
1. Obama did not "fire" Mattis. He removed him from his position at Central Command. He was still an active Army General.
2. Obama removed him because of Mattis's public comments in opposition to the Iran nuclear deal.
3. I did not like the way Obama di it, but it was no worse that Trump firing someone by tweet.
