"On Sunday, members of the Antifa movement in Portland, Oregon held a remembrance event for an activist that was killed. During their demonstration, they vandalized Oregon's Democratic Party headquarters.
Named "Light The Sky For Sean," Antifa used flares and fireworks in honor of 23-year-old Sean Kealiher, who was killed in a hit-and-run near a popular pub for members of Antifa.
Kealiher was well-known member of the group and Rose City Antifa said, "Our sources indicate that this was not related to fascist activity."
During their demonstration over the weekend that went into the early morning hours on Monday, rally-goers spray painted anarchist symbols on the Oregon's Democratic Party headquarters. One person climbed ledge and spray painted over the American flag that was on the building.

Here in Northern Virginia a couple years ago Antifa got violent at an announced demonstration in favor of gun rights A1C Doug Towsley -There were no shots fired but a number of people were assailed with serious battery injuries.
From the indications, Antifa is opposed to organized any group be it a government agency [DHS], political party "machines" and groups protesting for rights.
They seem to be functionally anarchists who receive support from whomever is supporting their agenda.
It would be interesting to learn who or what is actively funding their activity.

antifa communists have been attacking anyone opposed to their fascist tactics while vandalizing portland and other cities for a while. It was only a matter of time that some blowback occurred. I suspect, if the cops don't reign them in, there will be more blowback until they crawl back into their basements or pack their trash and leave this country.

PDX is ran by leftist who enjoy a leftist media. You have to look at the news outside to see the whole truth. But anyone who is sympathetic to antifa while they run around with hammer and sickle flags is missing the bigger picture. This type of mob behavior has happened before and it will happen again if it's ignored or empathy is given.
Labeling themselves "anti-fascists" doesn't mean they themselves aren't fascist or employing fascist tactics.
