1. I don't like red flag laws, I believe them to be unconstitutional.
2. If you own weapons, avoid making statements online, in person, at rallies, that could be construed as being a threat to commit violence.
Nuff said.

Not a fan, but unfortunately, he said some stuff that should have been taken seriously. Doesn't matter if he was a Marine, or not.

I understand and recognize that he appears odd in the way it has been reported. However one now must always wonder is this the truth or what someone wants the truth to be. I regrettably understand far too well how the dark side of power actually works.

That is what got him in trouble. Yes, he can defend himself, just don't make a public statement like the one quoted. That "they" take as a threat of someone looking for trouble.
