Every So Often We Get EMails From Companies Wanting To Hire Employees For Various Professions. My Sister-In-Law, Carol, Lives With Us, Is 63 Years Of Age And Legally Blind. She Recieved An Email From Some Company In Need of Cab Driver, Similar To Uber, So I Made The Reply: -- (paraphrased)-- I'm Replying To Your Request For Drivers And I May Be Interested In Working For Your Company, But Have A Couple Of Questions Before I Come In For An Interview; If I Decide To Accept The Job As A Driver, Would I Need Permission To Install Curb Feelers On My Vehicle?. I Would Be Quite Convenient For Assisting Me With Parking To Insure The Safety Of The Customer And The legal Aspect Of Parking Distances From The Curb.-- I'd Also Need The Curb Feelers Installed The Full Distance Around The Car, So Before I Hit Something I'd Know What Happed Before I Was About To Hit It. You See, I Have This Minor Problem With Vision, I'm Legally Blind & Can't See A Damned Thing .
