I leave for SBOLC on 11 May and want to get a new laptop that will be my daily driver through training and work. Does anyone have experience and personal recommendations as to what laptops seem to work well with army programs and sites and if programs run by signal demand certain specs such as faster processors. I have heard that Apple products for example do not work well and Huawei may not be smart to pick up.

What laptop do you recommend for 25B personal use? | RallyPoint
As some know im reclassing this month but I have a macbook pro and we all know its not compatible with allot of the programs we use. I know I can use boot camp and all that. Any recommendations for new windows based laptops to study for certs and use IT programs that will help me become more effective as a 25B

Not that they count be found, just wanted to see if recommendations have changed as the curriculum and hardware/software have greatly changed in the 3-5 years since those 2 discussion boards have been posted. But again, much appreciated! CW2 (Join to see)

Alec Roman - It's system requirement immaterial (Army's cheap and minimalist). just get windows and you should have no problems
