I had a dentist ask me about this last night while I was giving a cybersecurity talk to a dental association. It's definitely making the news. While things are pretty nation-state level now, it's just a matter of time before less sophisticated copycats come out with a much cheaper version of this. Definitely an update to force and not delay.

Thanks for the heads-up Eugene!! I had to pull it since it wasn't sitting in the queue but it was there.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A52, Android phone, but this subject for Apple is also true for those who have Android based phones and devices... What you don't know can hurt you... Here is an adjunct link which may help Android Users... https://youtu.be/uQopXZIXGzk

I have already done this and my phone is faster and the battery seems to last a great deal longer... It is your choice whether you choose to check it out or not...

Definitely watch what permissions your apps request/require on installation. It's a good idea to review the setting and disable the ones that don't make sense. "Why does my notepad need access to my camera?"
