Senior Corporate Accountant

The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for analyzing financial information, and preparing the applicable adjustments, reclassifications, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, and Bonnie’s accounting policies.Reports to: Director of Accounting
General accounting functions including:
Month-end/Quarter-end/Year-end Close Processes and Reconciliations.
Business Personal Property, Sales & Use Tax filings and reports.
Accounts Receivable: A/R reporting, analysis of collections, the allowance account for bad debt, and maintenance of internal controls.
Accounts Payable: Expense classification, and cutoff.
Payroll Accounting: Review financial reports for proper classification and reconciliation of commission plans.
Bank analysis and monthly reconciliations.
Resolving discrepancies and irregularities.
Analyze and manage appropriate recording of business transactions.
Preparing documentation for external auditors.
Research business expenditures categories and provide financial analysis for department leads.
Assist and support other general accounting reporting functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, (CPA highly preferred, Master’s preferred)
Three or more years of relevant accounting experience, (progressive accounting experience preferred).
Strong background and skills in computerized accounting information systems
Experience with business intelligence software and reporting
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Understanding of general accounting principles for U.S. tax regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High EQ/Strong Interpersonal Skills
