We have an open position for a Security Control Validator at the Air Education and Training Command at Randolph AFB, TX. There are new networks coming on line everyday and certification packages have to be obtained. You will use Risk Management Framework to design and obtain approval for these new systems to be accredited. Diligent is a small company, which allows your hard work to be noticed which can lead to horizontal and vertical movement within the company.

Minimum Position Requirements

• Minimum three (3+) years of experience in information systems security in accordance with DoD 8570.01–M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
• Proven work performance and communications skills, including developing and giving formal written and oral presentations
• Demonstrated experience in the development of information security accreditation packages based on understanding the unique security requirements of customer
• Must have a good understanding of Information Assurance principles; RMF requirements; and eMASS data input, validation, and presentation
• Appropriate IAM Level II or III professional certifications (ISC)2 e.g. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field -or- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field and additional three (3) years experience (Ten (10) years of IT experience no degree is required).
